About the Author:

“Hi, my name’s Matt and I am absolutely over the moon to be a Happynesshub Hero. As a member of the emergency services, working long shifts and fitting family life in around other demands can be challenging. I’ve also lived with a condition called Dysthymia for the past 20 years, which is a form of chronic depression. I’m also Buddhist. What does this mean for me? It means that I am more determined to surround myself with positivity, mindfulness and effective relaxation techniques. This is where the Happynesshub is perfect for me. I hope that by sharing my experiences of the 21 day programme with you, you too can benefit in some unique and meaningful way.”

Sheer brilliance. And I’m with you on every single point – over analysing and getting hangry are my worst culprits! Now, go enjoy that icecream! (In moderation – you don’t want to enjoy it so much that it makes you sick.)

Aww thanks Catherine. Kam and I were discussing portmanteaus that we seem to keep using and “Hangry” has to be up there as one of the greats……
Ps. I’ve saved you some ice cream xx

Matt this is so insightful yet funny and I think we’re all a little bit guilty of all of the above!!! Hope you enjoyed your ice cream! And as Catherine says try to avoid being hangry! 🙂 🙂
