SIMPLE SUNDAY does what it says on the tin – it’s about simplifying our lives and environments, as well as the tools we can use to really help our wellbeing. For some ‘slow’ living is the new norm, so let’s embrace living a stripped back and quieter lifestyle.

Science tells us that overstimulation is caused when we feed the brain more information than it can actively process, and this leads to an excess of the chemical, dopamine. As a result, we may become less responsive to the natural ebb and flow of our hormones, meaning we crave more and more dopamine, which can only be satisfied with greater and more powerful stimuli.

Therefore, on Sundays, at the end of a hectic week, we are all about regulating our dopamine levels by slowing down, focussing on the important things, and going back to basics.
