“Hi, my name’s Matt and I am absolutely over the moon to be a Happynesshub Hero. As a member of the emergency services, working long shifts and fitting family life in around other demands can be challenging. I’ve also lived with a condition called Dysthymia for the past 20 years, which is a form of chronic depression. I’m also Buddhist. What does this mean for me? It means that I am more determined to surround myself with positivity, mindfulness and effective relaxation techniques. This is where the Happynesshub is perfect for me. I hope that by sharing my experiences of the 21 day programme with you, you too can benefit in some unique and meaningful way.”

      Hi Victoria, hope you’re well hun.
      Well I got home and I made an omelet and went straight to bed. Now that I’m up for the school run, meditation shall follow whilst Eva watches herself on the TV. C-Beebies 5:25pm. Our Family. Gives me some peace. Namasté xx

    Matt – I have woken this morning pretty unwell and feeling a tad sorry for myself. Your video has just so brightened my day! Thank you so much! Being in this together for 21 Days really – for me – makes all the difference. I love your sunset photo – hold on to that image. And keep that positive focus going when you wake up. The more you apply it to every event the more you can rewire your brain to be drawn to the positive in each and every situation rather than the negative. Sleep well my friend x

    Hey Matt. Loving the vlog – so many positives about being on night shift! There’s definitely a lesson for me there. So often I find myself thinking “I can’t find a positive to this situation”. But if we have a bit of think about it, actually there’s positives hidden everywhere. Thanks!

Sally, I hope you feel better soon and thank you Tim for reminding me that you can improve other people’s outlook just by having a positive outlook myself. Now there’s a motivation.
