24 hours without media or Internet – I didn’t manage the whole time but gave it a good try, plus I’ve not been on much since, so that’s a positive. After rain, hail stones and snow, the sun came out to finish the day off.
Thought positive on Sunday – spoke to a couple of family members for a catch up, spent time in the garden… Normally I’m thinking about work but before I knew it the day had gone and work wasn’t thought about.
After starting the first week on a ‘4’ I woke up and felt a ‘6’ and stayed there for most of the day. Smiled when I didn’t want to but made a big effort..
Happy Tuesday – I have helped a family member for an hour so that has set me up for the day.
xx
Great to see you are taking on all the challenges Lesley and that they are making a difference! And to see those lovely images of the local area too…
Aww thanks Tim , yes Holy Island, couldn’t resist the Cheviots on the way to wooler after we’d had snow on Saturday. X
Oh Lesley it’s great to hear how well you are doing. A 4 to a 6 is massive. And that is only a week in. Now is when it can get tough to keep going, but please try to keep up your positivity! Tomorrow is all about being kind to yourself, you are so good at being kind to others, I hope tomorrow proves a good one for you. Big hugs Lesley! xx
Aww Sally you know how to make me smile ?X
