Week 1
POSITIVE FOCUS
Welcome to Thursday Thoughts where we are going to start by exploring the idea of positive focus. Today is about beginning to train your brain to really notice and focus on the positives in our lives, despite what might be happening around us.
Fred Bryant and Joseph Veroff have found that those who were encouraged to maintain a positive focus during daily walks for one week reported a greater increase in happiness at the end of the week than those who walked with a negative or neutral focus. So let’s give positive focus a go.
“It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to survive and thrive to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts.”
– Robert H. Schuller
